In 1998, while living on Cape Cod, I was sidelined, briefly, by appendicitis. During my convalescence, I built this radio-controlled sailplane from a balsa wood kit. I attempted to fly it once or twice and then packed it away until yesterday when I took it out to Belmont Plateau where I crashed it repeatedly and possibly beyond repair:
where you been storing that monstrosity? that’s crazy, you moved that to LA?? and BACK to philly?
I’m pretty sure it was in storage in AZ at that point. But yeah, definitely moved it across the country twice. I couldn’t believe it still (sort of) flew…
